Happy New Year! I hope you all had a great time over these past two weeks with your kiddos and making memories to last a lifetime. I am excited to get back to work and prep my kiddos for 1st grade!
Before we know it, we will be practicing for our ceremony and signing our year books. In the mean time, we still have a lot to learn and fun to have.

Here is a look into our first week back
Language Arts:
- Unit 3-Wk 1: "Little Panda"
- Weekly Comprehension Exam: Compare and Contrast
Math:
- Chapter 7-Shapes
- Students will be able to recognize and name basic solid shapes.
- Students will be able to describe basic solid and flat shapes
- Students will be able to say name and draw flat shapes
- Students will be able to make pictures using basic flat shapes
- Students will be able to identify and extend a shape pattern
Social Studies:
- Unit 6: L2-Who are people in history?
- Students will know the triumphs in American legends and historical accounts through the stories of people
Leadership:
- Excellence-What does excellence look like?
Science:
- Chapter3-Living and Nonliving thing
- Students will be able to identify living and nonliving things.
