Happy Spring Break!!

Hello everyone,

I hope you are all enjoying this week off with your family.
When we get back, the next few weeks will come and go and soon our kiddos will be heading off to 1st grade. Before that REACH will be having a few events the kids are sure to enjoy.

The next event coming up is our Cinco De Mayo celebration. As you may have noticed/heard all Kindergarten classes will be singing "De colores" (link-https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=48vNfKUHWRw). The performance is set to begin at 1:30 on May 5, followed by a small celebration in each classroom. Students are encouraged to wear red, white or green. Some parents have asked if students can wear traditional Mexican attire, and they are allowed to do so this day.

With the celebration following the performance in each classroom. It would be great if I could get your support to provide some yummy snacks for the kids.

Here is suggested list of items that can be donated (list created by REACH ELAC)
  • plates
  • napkins
  • juices and or small water bottles
  • salsa/guacamole
  • chips
  • taquitos
  • sour cream (for taquitos)
If you are able to provide any of the items to our class Cinco De Mayo celebration please email me.
Thank you all for your constant support and making my first year of teaching great.

Enjoy the rest of your spring break,
Miss. Maciel
