    • Progress Report:
      • It has been some times since official progress reports went home and soon you will have access to online grade. While we as teachers are slowly learning to use the new system and input our grades, Ive noticed a few grades have fallen, especially in the comprehension exams sections (over these past few weeks). I try my best to tell the kids to listen to the story they will be tested on, but many times I find that they still get distracted while I read. Please remind your child to pay attention on Fridays when they take their weekly comprehension skills test.
      • Continue to work on:
        • High Frequency words
        • Reading/blending words
      • I will try my best to get classroom progress reports on your child's current standing in all areas as soon as possible. There are 3 1/2 weeks left until final grades are due for 2nd trimester report cards.
    School News:
    • 2/27 Mayor visit/Black history month celebration (1:30)- Surprise Dance by staff and parents
    • 2/28 Awards assembly and performance

If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to email me. I would be more than happy to help in any way I can.

Thank you and enjoy the rest of your evening,
    Miss. Maciel
