Look into our week 10/31-11/4

Good morning parents and guardians, 

Great job on the October family project! The pumpkins came out amazing and the students had a great time sharing their projects with the class. Make sure to check out our Shutterfly page for class pictures. If you would like access, please email me for a special invitation. 
November family project information will be going home this Monday!

Also, please remember to turn in permission slip for our trip to UCR by 11/2. We are still in need of volunteers, if interested, please let me know as soon as possible!!!

 Please continue to reinforce the following hand signals and rules: 
Hand Signals: (show me the number of fingers in the air)
1 finger: restroom
Encourage your child to use the restroom before school, during recess, during lunch, during PE and after school.
2 fingers:water
Children may bring their own water bottle to keep in class, please LABEL it with their name
3 fingers: pencil
Student may replace their dull or broken pencil for a new one
4 fingers: tissue
when needed, please ask student to sit back down right away
5 fingers: question
question for me to give more information on

#3: Respect others, respect yourself, respect your school

  • First Sound Fluency (say beginning sounds of words)

  • Weekly reading comprehension test: Every Friday (Based on the comprehension skill of the week)
  • High Frequency Words (HFW-also known as Sight words : Same set of words last for two weeks. These words are meant to be read just by seeing them.

What a great first WACKY WEDNESDAY! Thank you to all the families that were able to donate items.
