Teachers had a staff meeting today with Dr. Rentie and we discussed these last few days of schools. There is a some new information as well as some reminders. THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU HAVE DONE FOR REACH AND OUR KIDDOS THIS YEAR!
Dress code reminder:
REACH spirit shirt (only on FRIDAYS)
100 mile club shirt (only on FRIDAYS)
Student must have socks on all the times
-boys socks (solid-black or navy)
-girls socks (solids-white, black, navy)
Jackets (no logos or prints)
If students have free dress
students are not allowed to wear shirts with thin straps (all shirts must have some sort of sleeve)
No open toed shoes-exp: sandals
No heels
Shirts and dressed must be finger tip length
Science and Art Expo
Date: June 18, 2015
Time: 4:00-6:30
Classroom visitation hours (presentation by students)
- Session 1: 4:15-5:00
- Session 2: 5:15-6:00
Game Day
Date: June 22, 2015
Time: TK-1 8:30-10:30
Lunch: 10:30-11:00 (picnic style)
-If you have a blanket we can use this, please let me know
Volunteers: We need volunteers for this day (please sign up on our classroom easel)
- 2 types of volunteers:
- Group chaperone (help a small group of students from station to station)
- Booth facilitator-Water relay
Donations needed:
- 6 buckets (to hold water)
- 6 large plastic cups (exp: from a fast food place)
Field Trip:
Date: 6/23/15
.Please turn in permission slip (both sides filled out) and fee
-If you are unable to pay the fee, students are still allowed to attend (please see me)
Chaperones: PLEASE EMAIL ME WITH YOUR CELLPHONE NUMBER!
Rules set forth by the team and admin:
- While field trips are fun, it is still a school day. All school rules still apply.
- Students must arrive to school early on the day of their class’ scheduled field trip.
- Busses will leave as scheduled. Any late students will be left. No refunds will be given.
- Students to wear red REACH T- shirts so that they are easily identifiable. If they do not have a red REACH shirt, a plain red t-shirt will suffice.
- Chaperones and volunteers to wear REACH T-shirt (any color) as well.
- Students, teachers, volunteers, and chaperones represent REACH while participating in off-campus activities. They should be on their best behavior at ALL TIMES!
- THERE IS TO BE NO EATING ON THE BUS. STUDENTS MAY DRINK WATER ONLY. CHEWING GUM ON THE BUS IN NOT ALLOWED.
- STUDENTS NOT ALLOWED TO TAKE BACKPACKS ON THE BUSSES. LEAVE THEM UNDERNEATH THE BUS CARRIAGE/STORAGE COMPARTMENT.
- MAKE SURE BUSSES ARE AT THE SAME LEVEL OF CLEANLINESS WHEN YOU LEAVE (IF NOT BETTER) THAN WHEN YOU FOUND THEM.
Teacher Vs. Students (mix of 3rd and 4th):

Time: 8:00am
Parents are welcomes to attend!
Please have children wear sunscreen and bring a water bottle (we are expecting a warm day)
Students may bring money-snacks will be sold this day
End of the year party:
Date: 6/24/15
Time: 11:00-3:00

June awards and Kindergarten graduation

Students are allowed to decorate their caps. If you are interested in doing this, please let me know!
