Look into our week 3/7-3/11

Good morning parents and guardians,

   This month's family project is a fun one! Here are some ideas of Leprechaun traps. Please turn them in by March 15. If you can any questions please let me know.







Scholastic book orders can always be placed online using the link to the right of the page and they will arrive quicker. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to email me or stop by the classroom.

Some important dates to keep in mind:

March
3/14: Lock down drill
3/21: Meet the Masters Art Class
3/25: Awards @ 8am and report cards sent home
3/30: Wacky Wednesday
3/31: Spring Performance

April
4/1: No school
4/4-4/8: Spring Break


Here is a look into our new week

Language Arts:
  • Story: Unit 4-Week 5 "If you could go to Antarctica"

Writing
  • Continue Unit 5: informational writing
Math:
  • Finish Chapter 14: Number Facts
    • Students will be able to compose numbers to 20
    • Students will be able to decompose numbers to 20
    • Students will be able to combine sets and say how many more are need to make numbers up to 20
Science:
  • Project lead the way (PLTW) 
    • Structure and Function: exploring design

Please feel free to email me or stop by with any questions or concerns. Students were given access to MobyMAx. Please try using the online program at home. Students may do Language Arts or Math. This is an awesome individualized learning program. Also, parents still have access to our grade books. My grade book is updated on a weekly basis.
