Look into our week 2/16-2/19

Good morning parents and guardians,

What a great week and Valentines celebration! The kids did amazing on their projects! Thank you for all the donations and and classroom helpers.
Scholastic book orders can always be placed online using the link to the right of the page and they will arrive quicker. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to email me or stop by the classroom.

Some important dates to keep in mind:

February
2/15: NO SCHOOL-President's day
2/16: Emergency Drill
2/17: 100th day of school (THANK YOU TO ALL THOSE THAT HAVE SIGNED UP!)

Students may come dressed as 100 year olds!

2/24: Wacky Wednesday (more information to come)
2/26: Awards @8am
2/29: Black History Assembly

Here is a look into our new week

Language Arts:

• Story: Unit 4-Week 2 "My lucky day"

Writing

• Continue Unit 5: informational writing

Math:

• Finish Chapter 12: Counting on and counting back (to ten)
• Students will be able to count back using fingers
• Finding differences using fingers (to 10)

Science:

• Finish Chapter 6: Objects
• 5 senses
• What are objects made of?

Social Studies:

• Ruby Bridges

Please feel free to email me or stop by with any questions or concerns. Students were given access to MobyMAx. Please try using the online program at home. Students may do Language Arts or Math. This is an awesome individualized learning program. Also, parents still have access to our grade books. My grade book is updated on a weekly basis.
