Hope everyone is having a great weekend! I want to begin by saying THANK YOU, to all those families that were able to donate items and their time towards our Apple celebration. This was the best one so far! Also, just as a heads up I will be out on Thursday for a day long training. A sub (who as worked for reach for a few years now) will be covering for me. Please remind your child that morning to be on their best behavior.
Our 20th day of school is tomorrow! Tomorrow will be an attendance challenge and house inductions. For the attendance challenge, all children present and on time will receive a free dress pass (to use on another day). Also, all students present and on time will be place in a special raffle (first prize: house spirit shirt, second prize: VIP parking).
House induction for Kindergarten will happen in the MPR at 2pm. All visitors must first sign in at the office.
After house inductions take place, parents may purchase student and adult house shirt.
Please see office for more information.
PS. I am in the house of Amistad, the house of friendship. I can not wait to see who will join me and represent the color red!
Be sure to check out our Shutterfly page for our latest classroom pictures. If you would like access, please email me for a special invite. Soon all parents/guardians will be given access to teachers grade books. I try to update my grades right away after the students take a test.
