What another fun week! This week will fly by quick as we get ready for Spring Break!

Here is a look into our new week

Language Arts:

• Story: Unit 5-Week 2 "Mayday Mayday"
• CVC and HFW spelling test this week

Writing

•  Continue with Unit 6: personal narratives

Math:

• Finish Chapter 17: Addition stories
• Students will be able to use symbols and numerals to write number sentences
• Add numbers up to 10

Science:

• Finish Chapter 8: Motion
• What can you tell about object position?
• What makes objects move?
• What are some ways objects move?

Please feel free to email me or stop by with any questions or concerns. Students were given access to MobyMAx. Please try using the online program at home. Students may do Language Arts or Math. This is an awesome individualized learning program. Also, parents still have access to our grade books. My grade book is updated on a weekly basis.

Look into our week 3/21-3/25

Good afternoon parents and guardians,

What a fun week! I hope you enjoyed this month's family project. The kids were super excited to set their trap and catch a leprechaun. The pictures I uploaded onto our Shutterfly does not show the full excitement of the students. They really were in awe, it was amazing!

These past two weeks my class began the first Project Lead the Way (PLTW) module. I hope they went home and explained their creations to you. They were able to put on their engineer hats and solve problems. They did amazing, and the way they helped each other out, made my teacher heart happy.
